The obverse features the Mexican Coat of Arms, which depicts an eagle perched atop a cactus carrying a snake in its beak. Ten additional seals representing Mexico’s provinces are positioned around the central seal. The dates of this product will be random and may or may not include a variety.
Winged Victory, the Mexican angel of independence, stands tall on the reverse, holding a laurel wreath in one hand and the broken chains of bondage in the other. She is situated between two famous Mexican volcanoes, named Popocatepetl and Iztaccihautl after a pair of lovers from pre-Columbian lore. The original image of Winged Victory featured on these coins from 1982 to 1995, with a new image of Victoria introduced starting in 1996 and remaining in use into the 21st century.
The National Mint of Mexico (also known as the Casa de Moneda de Mexico) was established in 1535, making it the oldest sovereign mint in the Americas. The mint produced the Centenario gold coin between 1921 and 1947, which came to be known as one of the world’s most beautiful coins. In 1982, the mint began producing Silver Libertads based on the design of the Centenario and they’ve become popular among collectors and investors.
Individual coins will ship in a plastic flip. Multiples may come in mint-sealed plastic sheets or tubes, depending on inventory.

" Received my order of 32 1 ounce Silver Libertad coins and extremely pleased with the twenty 2017 year and twelve 2015 year. All in pristine condition in two separate mint tubes. A very beautiful coin in it's own way. Just like I love the beauty of the ASE. But I didn't have any Libertad's in my 'stack'...and now I do. And I plan on getting more in the future-if they come back into stock, lol. Thanks to all at Provident!!!"

" Pull the trigger and took a chance on 10 oz, received all 1984 Libertads all in excellent shape. One had toning and the rest look good, not perfect uncirculated, but beautiful. Thanks Provident. "
