On the reverse side of the 2024 Somalia Elephant Silver Coin, you’ll find an alluring new design for 2024. This year’s artwork captures the essence of two male bull elephants engaged in combat during mating season, showcasing their strength and dominance in a stunning display of nature’s power. The inscriptions read AFRICAN WILDLIFE, ELEPHANT, and 1 OZ AG 999.9.

History

Zambia Elephants were issued only in 1 oz silver and 1 oz gold from 1999 to 2003. In 2004, the series became the Somalia Elephant. It wasn’t until 2016/2017 that the Bavarian State Mint began to extensively expand the series into fractional-ounce gold and silver weights in excess of 1 oz silver.

All 2024 Somalia Elephant 1 oz Silver Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. You can acquire them individually in protective flips, or in multiples of 20 coins packed in plastic tubes, and for larger quantities, we offer them in multiples of 500 coins housed in Monster Boxes, each containing 25 individual tubes.
