Designed in late 2022 by the talented artist Martin Jennings, the striking left-profile relief of the King captures his regal essence without a crown, adding a touch of modernity to this classic series. Inscriptions read CHARLES III, D.G. REX F.D., and 2 POUNDS.
Reverse
Turning to the reverse, the 2024 British Silver Britannias continue to honor tradition with Philip Nathan’s timeless design of Britannia. This powerful allegorical figure stands tall in front-facing relief, wearing a Corinthian helmet and holding a trident in her right hand. In her left, she confidently holds the Union Jack shield, symbolizing the strength and resilience of the British nation. Inscriptions include BRITANNIA, 2024, 1 OZ, and 999 FINE SILVER.
History
The British Silver Britannia collection holds a unique place in the world of bullion. Unlike its golden counterpart, the Silver Britannia was unveiled in 1997, a decade after the introduction of gold coins. Throughout its history, the obverse displayed three different portraits of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. From 1998 to 2015, Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait adorned the coins, followed by Jody Clark’s depiction from 2016 to 2023.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
