Obverse
In the obverse design of the 2023 Australian Kangaroo Gold Coin, you will find the final image of Queen Elizabeth II on Australian coins. This 2015 design from Jody Clark shows the Queen in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. There is a special inscription of 1952-2022 on this side to honor her reign following her death in September 2022. Other inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, and 15 DOLLARS.
Reverse
For the reverse field of 2023 Kangaroo 1/10 oz Gold Coins, you will see Ing Ing Jongs effigy of a kangaroo. This new design shows a kangaroo seated on its hind legs as it looks back over its shoulder toward a eucalyptus tree on the horizon. The inscriptions read KANGAROO, 2023, 1/10 OZ 9999 GOLD, and the P mint mark of Perth Mint.
History
Australian Kangaroo Gold Coins are available in five weights in 2023. As with previous years, the mint offers 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz gold coins with a new design, as well as a 1 kilo coin with a static reverse design.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
