History

The Biblical series has featured many designs from the Bible throughout its time being released. Designs in this series are based on artwork by the French artist, Gustave Dor, in the Romanticism style. The 2021 coin shows the story of the Second Temple being rebuilt. This Temple replaced Solomons Temple, which was destroyed when Jerusalem was conquered, and part of the Kingdom of Judah had been taken into exile to Babylon.

Obverse

On the obverse of the 2021 Rebuilding the Jerusalem Temple Biblical 2 oz Silver Coin is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Raphael Maklouf. The Queen is displayed in this image with her beautiful crown and a pearl necklace around her neck. The obverse of the 2021 coin also shows the coins release year and its purity, value, and weight. The inscription QUEEN ELIZABETH II is also shown above the Queens head.

Reverse

The reverse of the 2021 Rebuilding the Jerusalem Temple Biblical 2 oz Silver Coin includes the image of the Temple of Jerusalem being rebuilt.
