Minted from 1888 – 1912, Provident Metals carries the German 20 Mark Gold Coin–also called the Goldmark–which contains .2305 Troy Ounces of Pure Gold and will arrive in circulated condition or better.
The obverse of each German 20 Mark bears the right-facing image of King Wilhelm II, along with the words WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KNIG V PREUSSEN, which means German Kaiser Wilhelm II, King V of Prussia.
The reverse of each 20 Mark features the crowned arms and eagle insignia of the German Empire, along with the words DEUTSCHES REICH (which means German Empire), 20 MARK and the coin’s year of issue.
German 20 Marks–among the most scarce small-sized European gold coins on earth–actually came from Prussia. Germany and Prussia were ruled by Wilhelm II from 1888 – 1918. The first grandchild of Great Britain’s Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Kaiser Wilhelm was the last Emperor of Germany and Prussia: his support of the Austro-Hungarian Empire eventually led to the First World War and he was forced to abdicate in 1918. Wilhelm fled to the Netherlands in exile, where he lived until his death in 1942.

This was a wonderful, historic coin from Provident. Mine arrived in AU condition.
At just a hair under 1/4 of an ounce, these are a steal, especially at today's beaten-down Gold prices. There is of course a premium over Spot Price, but you'll pay that for any fractional Gold coin. I'd buy these 100 year old beauties over a brand-new 1/4 Gold Eagle any day.
