Barbados Silver Coins

Barbados will back coins that are struck by other mints, such as the Scottsdale Mint. Some popular options include the following:

• Barbados Trident Silver Coins: Struck by the Scottsdale Mint, these coins have been issued annually since 2017. The obverse of these coins features the Barbados coat of arms, while the reverse showcases a trident head. While the trident head doesn’t change, the background of the reverse field changes with every issue. These coins are released in just a 1 oz silver weight.
• Barbados Blue Marble Series: These spherical coins use blue enamel to make them look like the globe. There are many unique coins in this series such as gilded, and even silver-plating coins to portray the 7 continents.

Congo Silver Coins

There are 2 incredibly popular coin programs with backing from the Congo. This includes the Prehistoric Life series and the World’s Wildlife series. • Prehistoric Life: The Prehistoric Life series showcases well-known dinosaurs and other creatures on the reverse. The series has been issuing multiple coins each year since 2020. Popular images include the T-Rex, Woolly Mammoth, Titanoboa, and Stegosaurus, among others.
• World’s Wildlife Series: This series showcases some of the world’s most fascinating wildlife. Each strike has a limited mintage and contains .9999 pure silver. Animals featured have been the giraffe, whale, eagle, bear, and ray.

Cook Islands Silver Coins

• Big City Lights: These coins arrive in a display box with a Certificate of Authenticity and have a limited mintage based on the year they were issued. The series features black-and-white images of famous skylines. The first two releases feature Sydney and New York City.
• Eclectic Nature: This unique series showcases animals on proof colorized strikes. What’s unique about this series is that the animals are shown in vibrant contrasting colors that make each animal pop off the coin. Popular designs include the European Roller and the Chameleon.

Rwanda Silver Coins

Rwanda is home to some of the most unique and popular silver coins on the market. Private mints such as the Scottsdale Mint and the BH Mayer Mint strike these coins.

• Rwandan Wildlife: Arguably the most well-known silver coin series backed by Rwanda is the Rwandan Wildlife series. The series was launched in 2008 by the BH Mayer Mint and showcases a unique image every year on the obverse. The African continent is always displayed, while next to it will be a unique animal that calls Rwanda, home.
• Lunar Series: This series debuted in 2017 making it one of the newer Lunar-themed series on the market. These coins are released in a 1 oz BU silver weight and a 1 oz proof silver weight. Each obverse features the animal in the Chinese zodiac, while the reverse shows the official seal of the Republic of Rwanda.

Tokelau Silver Coins

While some popular coin programs from Tokelau are now issued by Niue, they’re still a popular name in the industry for these collections of unique coins. The Pressburg Mint struck both of these unique series.

• Chronos: Tokelau issued coins in the Chronos series from 2015 to 2022, and again in 2024. Each issue showcases a unique ornate clock design on the reverse. The reverse design changed every year however the clock motif always remains.
• Vivat Humanitas: These coins had the backing of Tokelau from 2020 to 2022, and again in 2024 (2023 coins were backed by Niue). The series features motifs of the positives of humanity and what brings us together as human beings. Each reverse features a new design each year. Coins are issued in BU and proof-like strikes.
