Those flaws must be located outside the primary focal points of the coin and are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines. Rogers was used again in 2017 to mark the 20^th anniversary of the program.

History

To date, five official coin design series have been issued for the Proof American Eagle 1 oz Platinum Coin. The first of these was the Vistas of Liberty from 1998 to 2002. The Preamble to the Constitution was the longest series running from 2009 to 2014.
