The 8^th FIFA Womens World Cup kicked off on June 7, 2019, in France. It ran through to July 7, 2019. The United States played as perhaps the most successful team in the history of the Womens World Cup. They were also the defending champions. To commemorate the event, the Paris Mint issued FIFA Womens World Cup silver coins, along with special display boxes. The FIFA Women’s World Cup France Silver Coin Display Box was designed to perfectly accommodate and protect your FIFA Womens World Cup silver coins. This box was designed for the display of a single coin in the collection. Coins are not included with this display box.

Each of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France Silver Coin Display Boxes is designed to be used to display on an individual coin. The Paris Mint designed four separate silver coins in the 2019 Womens World Cup Silver Coins series. Each of the coins features its own unique reverse design.

The silver coins in the collection each include .7137 Troy oz of actual silver content, with proof design fields. The obverse design of each of the coins in the collection features the flags of the four nations that have achieved victory during one of the earlier 7 Womens World Cups. The coins were released in limited mintage numbers, with just 10,000 per design. They have a face value of 10 Euros, backed by the French government.

As France was the host nation for the 2019 8^th FIFA Womens World Cup, the nation was responsible for designing and producing the commemorative silver coins, along with the unique display boxes for the coins in the series. France was just the sixth nation to host the FIFA Womens World Cup, and the third nation in continental Europe to do so. China and the United States have each hosted the tournament twice, followed by one each for Sweden, Germany, and Canada prior to the 2019 edition of the FIFA Womens World Cup.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup France Silver Coin Display Box will protect the coin, while also offering a compartment on the inside of the lid to keep the coins Certificate of Authenticity.
