The Eagle 10 oz Silver Bar from the SilverTowne Mint is now available from our extensive selection of privately minted silver bullion. Each Eagle Silver Bar consist of ten troy ounces of investment grade, .999 fine silver, and was produced by the SilverTowne Mint, an IRA approved mint. Because each of these bars was manufactured at an ISO9001 mint, and because strict metal purity and production quality standards were employed, each Eagle Silver Bar qualifies for a self-directed precious metals IRA.
The obverse of this 10 oz silver bar features an American bald eagle alighting on the leafless branch of a tree. The reverse of the bar features a pattern of diagonal lines crossing at right angles. The bottom of the bar carries the SilverTowne prospector, and the inscription “TEN TROY OUNCES .999 FINE SILVER”.
SilverTowne was founded by Leon Hendrickson in 1949, and has produced and distributed beautiful bullion ever since. Because these silver bullion bars were produced by a privately controlled, and well-respected mint, the unit price per ounce of silver is much less costly than silver bullion minted by a sovereign government. Even though the premium of these silver bars is less than sovereign bullion, the quality of the silver is the same, making the Eagle 10 oz Silver Bar a wise investment.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

My first bar purchase ever was this 10 ounce eagle from Provident. Don?t let the website images fool you, the back side of this bar is nowhere near as ?squared off? as it looks. I?m new to the coin or silver world and I?m learning which companies are good to work with and what products are worth buying. I think we all realize that the website images aren?t of the exact products we are buying, but they should be representative of the products. We use the images provided to make purchasing decisions, right? I enjoy displaying my purchases and just was not happy with the ?unfilled? look of the backside of this product. The four corners of this bar are severely rounded, almost like what handling wear would produce, but it did come to me in a mint-sealed plastic so it?s not Provident?s fault. I called to see about an exchange for a bar without these corner ?wear-like? issues, but was told they are ALL LIKE THAT and there was nothing that could be done to make me happier with my purchase. I could pay the return shipping to maybe get a bar that might be better, but no guarantees. If you are looking for a decent looking bar you can be proud of adding to your collection, this is not it. Buy the beat-up secondary market bars ? at least you get what you expect based on the provident website images.I had hoped for a better exchange option like other online metal sellers have but did not find it at Provident."

The SilverTowne 10 oz bars w iconic design really makes a presence - nice to have each bar in mint-sealed sheet...we have a bald eagle pair nesting on our back mountain ridge w frequent flybys so the obverse image means even more. When hefting the bars, you note a significant well built silver bar; and they give a sense of fundamental success. I am very happy with the purchase. Like to mention that dealing with Provident makes collecting enjoyable."
