Both sides of the coin have an enameled background that replicates the look of a beehives honeycomb, with the coat of arms set against this detailed field in shining silver. Reverse

History
Bees collect plant resins to create propolis, a sticky substance used to seal gaps in the hive and with antimicrobial properties that help keep the colony healthy. Within a colony, bees practice swarming. This is the natural method of colony reproduction. When a hive becomes too crowded, about half the bees leave with the old queen to establish a new colony elsewhere.
