Since 2006, the United States Mint has produced the Burnished Silver Eagle alongside the Proof and BU Silver Eagles. Each 2024-W Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin at Provident Metals is secured in an NGC plastic slab to preserve its Mint State 70 grade. Coins with this grade exhibit complete, original mint luster and no imperfections. Early Release coins are those submitted to the NGC for certification within 30 days of their release by the mint.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2024-W Burnished American Eagle Silver Coins features the iconic Walking Liberty design. Created by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, it depicts Liberty in left-profile as she walks towards the rising sun, draped in the American flag and holding branches of oak and laurel. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2024, and Weinman’s signature mark.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 2024-W Burnished Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins display a modern depiction of the American bald eagle. Designed by Emily Damstra in 2020, this image of a bald eagle with an oak branch in its talons was introduced in 2021 for the series’ 35th anniversary. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The first Burnished Silver Eagles were introduced in 2006 to mark the 20th anniversary of the Silver Eagle Series. These coins use specially polished blanks to create a unique matte finish. Available only in 1 oz silver, Burnished Silver Eagles were issued from 2006-2008 and have been released annually since 2011.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
