History
In September 2020, the US House of Representatives passed legislation to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the final year of Morgan Dollars and the first year of Peace Dollars. Following unanimous approval by the Senate in December, President Donald Trump signed the bill into law in January 2021. After a hiatus in 2022, the US Mint reintroduced these modernized coins for 2023.
