Obverse
On the obverse of 2023 Niue Czech Lion Gold Coins the Public Seal of Niue is depicted. Accompanying this national emblem is an eagle and leaves from a linden tree. The eagle and the linden tree are both prominent symbols in the Czech Republic. Inscriptions on the obverse read 50 DOLLARS, 2023.
Reverse
The reverse of 2023 Czech Lion 1 oz Gold Coins features a regal lion in stunning closeup. Just below this image you will see the top portion of the crown of Saint Wenceslas. History
The lion has been an important symbol in the Czech Republic since the 13th century. The lion initially appeared on the heraldry of Bohemia with one tail as a symbol of King Vladislaus IIs valor. While the reason behind the second tail addition is not entirely known, some historians suspect it was due to the efforts of King Premysl Otakar I in fighting the Saxons.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
