Highlights:
From 1982 to 2000, Chinese Panda Gold Coins were available from the Chinese Mint with face values lower than those currently featured on the coins. In 2001, the Chinese Mint increased the face value of each denomination to the levels currently seen today.
Obverse
On the obverse of 2023 Panda 3 Gram Gold Coins, you will find the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This design element has been in use in the series since 1982 and features not only on all five gold bullion coins, but also on the silver bullion coins of the series. Inscriptions on this side include the nation of issue and 2023.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2023 Chinese Panda Gold Coin comes with a depiction of two Giant Pandas. This native bear species from the central highlands of China is shown here with two pandas in a tree. As one stands leaning against the trunk, another is shown lying in the low branches of the tree. Inscriptions on this side read 3 G, AU, .999, and 50 Yuan.
History
In 2016, the Chinese Mint switched from Troy oz to Grams for the weight of its Panda Gold Coins. The 1/10 oz gold coin became this 3 Gram Gold option. The changeover resulted in some of the coins being adjusted by diameter and/or thickness.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
