Obverse
The obverse field of the 2023 American Eagle Silver Coin comes with a depiction of Walking Liberty. In this design from 1916, the effigy of Liberty is captured in left-profile relief wearing the American flag around her figure. While her right hand is extended toward the sun on the horizon, her left is carrying branches of oak and laurel. The inscriptions on this side of the coin read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2023, and the AW initials of Adolph A. Weinman, the designer of the Walking Liberty image.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2023 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is a depiction of the American bald eagle. Created in 2020 by Emily Damstra, this design shows the bald eagle as it swoops into view with its wings flexed and a large oak branch in its talons. Inscriptions on this side include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
In mid-2021, the United States Mint introduced this new reverse design element. Emily Damstra is the designer of this visual and has previously worked with the United States Mint on coin designs in the America the Beautiful Series.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
