When you purchase a 2023 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin in this Provident Metals listing, you will receive a coin that is sealed in a PCGS plastic slab. Coins in this condition earned near-perfect certifications, indicating the presence of full, original mint luster and no detractions. Acceptable flaws at this grade include only minuscule hairlines or contact marks outside the primary fields. First Strike coins were received for grading within 30 days of issue.

The obverse side of 2023 American Eagle Silver Coins features Walking Liberty. This 1916 design from Adolph A. Weinman was created for the US Half Dollar and captures Libertys full-length figure in left-profile relief. Inscriptions include LIBERTY and 2023.

On the reverse face of the 2023 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin, you will find the 2020 design of an American bald eagle from Emily Damstra. This effigy depicts the eagle in left-profile relief with raised wings and extended talons clutching an oak branch. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER ONE DOLLAR.

The 35th anniversary of American Eagle Silver Coins in 2021 marked the start of a new era. In mid-2021, the US Mint introduced this new reverse image of the bald eagle from Emily Damstra as the first-ever design change in the series.
