Reverse
The reverse of 2023 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins contains a bald eagle in flight. This design debuted in 2021, replacing the heraldic eagle motif that had been used since 1986. The designer Emily Damstra chose to depict the eagle with an oak branch as it builds a nest. This image resonates not just because the eagle is a symbol of America itself, but also because the oak is considered the countrys national tree. Inscriptions on the reverse read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ FINE SILVER.
History
The American Silver Eagle coin program launched in 1986. As the worlds best-selling coin, numerous versions of the Silver Eagle are available. In addition to the standard BU releases, collectors can also purchase gilded, proof, and burnished editions. Currently, production of the different Silver Eagles is handled at the West Point, Philadelphia, and San Francisco branches of the US Mint.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
