The Gods of Olympus Series debuted in 2020 with images the Perth Mint had previously used in 2014 and 2015. The previous two-year release featured separate collections known as the Gods of Olympus and the Goddesses of Olympus. When you purchase a 2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Athena 1 oz Silver Coin online at Provident Metals, you will receive a coin that is packaged either individually or in bulk. All of the coins are encapsulated in this weight within the series, with multiples of 20 coins sealed in a plastic roll or multiples of 100 in a box. The box holds five individual rolls of 20 coins and all are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse side of 2022 Gods of Olympus Athena Silver Coins. This portrait shows the Queen in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. Ian Rank-Broadley created this portrait of the Queen in 1998 for the Royal Mint and it served as the fourth-generation depiction of Her Majesty for British and Commonwealth coinage. Inscriptions read QUEEN ELIZABETH II, 1 DOLLAR, TUVALU, 1 OZ 9999 AG, and 2022.
Reverse
In the reverse design of the 2022 Tuvalu Athena 1 oz Silver Coin, you will find a depiction of Athena. The goddess of warfare and wisdom is shown in right-profile relief with a Corinthian helmet, a shield in her right hand, and a spear in her left hand. There is an owl flying over her head while a snake slithers at her feet. The lone inscription on this side reads ATHENA.

Athena is one of the Olympians from Greek mythology, the powerful deities that resided at the top of Mount Olympus. She is widely regarded as the goddess of warfare, wisdom, and handicraft.
