Obverse
The obverse side of 2022 Proof St. Helena Una and the Lion Coins comes with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty features here in right-profile relief in a design that Jody Clark created for the Royal Mint in 2015. The design shows the Queen at the age of 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem. Inscriptions on this side read ELIZABETH II, D.G. REGINA F.D., ST. HELENA, and 2 POUNDS.
Reverse
On the reverse field of the 2022 Proof Una and the Lion 2 oz Silver Coin, you will find an image of Una and the Lion. These mythical figures are shown in seated positions, with Lady Una on the left and the Lion on the right. The two are gazing at one another from their seated positions. Inscriptions include UNA AND THE LION and 2022.
History
The original Una and the Lion coin design was created in 1839 by William Wyon. With production starting that year, it came two years after the start of Queen Victorias reign in 1837. The design was meant to honor the start of her reign and was the first British coin design to capture the image of a British monarch as a mythical figure.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
