The first silver coins issued in the South African Krugerrand Series were the Premium Uncirculated and Proof coins in 1 oz silver. In 2018, the 1 oz silver coin became an annual-issue BU Series, with the 1 oz proof added the same year. In 2020, these 2 oz proof coins became an annual issue as well.
