The warrior in the foreground is in right-profile relief and is set against a battle scene in the background that includes warriors and cavalry. History

The Type I and Type II releases in the Molon Labe Series share the same obverse and reverse designs, but have different design orientations. The Type I release featured a Medallion Die orientation, with the portraits on each side both set upright as you spin the coin 180 degrees. These Type II coins have a Coin Die orientation, resulting in one portrait being upright and the other upside down as you rotate the coin 180 degrees.
