Obverse
On the obverse side of 2022 Mexican Libertad Silver Coins, you will find the modern coat of arms of the nation. In this design, the Mexican golden eagle is shown perched on a prickly pear cactus with its wings raised. The eagle is using its talons and beak to wrestle a serpent in this design. The eagle and serpent are surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel, as well as an inscription of ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
Reverse
The reverse field of the 2022 Mexican Libertad 1/20 oz Silver Coin comes with a vision of Winged Victory. The figure of Winged Victory is a female allegory adopted by the Mexican people during the independence era. History
The 1/20 oz weight in the Mexican Libertad Silver Series was introduced by the Mexican Mint in 1991. The overall collection debuted in 1982 with a 1 oz silver coin, with four fractional-ounce coins introduced in 1991. Additional coins in the series include the 1996 release of 2 oz and 5 oz silver coins, as well as the 2008 release of a 1 Kilo coin.
