Obverse

Reverse
The coin’s reverse side shows Scrooge McDuck counting his money in full color, set against a backdrop of golden coins and an overflowing treasure chest, all of it offset against a mirror-finish background. Small inscriptions at the coin’s rim specify its silver contents and verify the Disney copyright.
History

Scrooge McDuck might be one of the more unusual entries, a character originally named and patterned after the miserly nature of Ebenezer Scrooge who turned out to have more range and appeal than anyone had suspected when he made his 1947 debut. The tycoon of McDuck enterprises went on to represent both the pros and cons of great wealth and the mindset that can come with it, and the artwork on this extraordinary collectible shows both these sides of his character.
