History

The Parasaurolophus was a hadrosaurid ornithopod dinosaur that roamed North America over 70 million years ago. To date, scientists recognize three species of this herbivorous marvel: P. walkeri, P. tubicen, and P. cyrtocristatus. The Parasaurolophus is bipedal and quadrupedal and is easy to recognize thanks to its giant tail and unique crest extending from the back of its skull.
