The Canadian Maple Leaf Series is one of the worlds most exciting bullion coin collections. The Maple Leaf bullion coins were among the first to adopt .9999 pure gold and .9999 pure silver content, as well as one of the first to offer a common coin design across gold, silver, platinum, and palladium coins. Right now, you can buy 2022 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver Coins online from Provident Metals.
With your purchase of the 2022 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver Coin online at Provident Metals, you will receive coins that are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The silver coins in this listing come packaged individually in protective plastic flips, acrylic tubes of 25 coins, or Monster Boxes of 500 silver coins. Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse side of the 2022 Canadian Maple Leaf Silver Coin. The effigy of the Queen has been modified four times for Canadian coins throughout the course of her reign. This design was created in 2003 as the fourth-generation portrait and was created by Susanna Blunt. The Queens effigy lacks a crown, a first in the history of her portraits on Canadian coins. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read ELIZABETH II, 5 DOLLARS, and 2022.
A sugar maple leaf is found in the reverse design of the 2022 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver Coin. The sugar maple leaf was designed in 1979 by Walter Ott for the Maple Leaf Gold Coin. Inscriptions on this face of the coin include CANADA, 9999, FINE SILVER, and 1 OZ ARGENT PUR.
In 2014, the Royal Canadian Mint began to introduce security features on its silver bullion coin. Both sides of the coins have radial lines engraved on the background field. The reverse of each coin has a micro-laser engraved maple leaf privy mark that bears the final two digits of the date mark. Within the privy mark are the numbers 22, which are only visible under magnification.
