Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of 2022 Australian Lunar Tiger Gold Coins. The design shown here captures the Queen at the age of 89 as she wears the George IV State Diadem Crown. Her Majestys effigy now featuring on Australian coins was created in 2015 and features on British coins as the fifth-generation portrait for that nation. On Australian coins, this is the sixth-generation design. Inscriptions on this field include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ 9999 AU, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse

History
The 2022 Australian Lunar Tiger features gold coin options of 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz in fractional weights, as well as 1 oz, 2 oz, and 10 oz gold coins. The 1 oz coin is limited to 30,000 coins in all, though if the mint does not hit that limit by the time the 2023 design is released, production will halt. All other weights come with an unlimited mintage, with the same timeline on halting production of the coins.
