The first coin in the series featured the coronation of Tinatin and was issued in 2021. Obverse
On the obverse of 2022 Tariel Fighting the Wild Beast Coins is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. She is shown facing the right side and wearing the Girls of Great Britian and Ireland Tiara. You will find inscriptions that read ELIZABETH II, 2022, NIUE ISLAND, 1 DOLLAR AG .999. An ornamental pattern embellishes the edge of the design.

History
The Knight in the Panthers Skin is an epic chivalric romance written by Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli in the 12th century. Rustaveli was a leading poet in his time and remains highly respected to this day. The Knight in the Panthers Skin is his most famous work and details the adventures of the knight Tariel, his friend Avtandil, and their search for the princess Nestan-Darejan.
