They are considered to be the highest form of architectural art in Chinese buildings with over 20 of these hand-carved ceilings in the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
Obverse
For the obverse of the 2022 Antique Republic of Chad Forbidden City Caisson Ceiling 35.5 oz Silver Coin, the Republic of Chads coat of arms is engraved. The coat of arms features the image of a lion and a majestic goat holding onto the opposite ends of the emblem of the country. The inscriptions on this side of the coin include: REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD 2022 the country and the year of issue and 10000 FRANCS CFA the face value of the coin.
Reverse
For the reverse of the 2022 Antique Republic of Chad Forbidden City Caisson Ceiling 35.5 oz Silver Coin, the caisson ceiling dragon design is featured on gold plating. The dragon is coiled in a gold square found in the heart of a number of other squares. The borders of these squares are decorated with the most exquisite of patterns.
