The first release of the Burnished American Eagle in 2021 is the newest version of the coin with the all-new reverse design. There was no Type 1 release of the Burnished Eagle in 2021, making the debut of the new reverse image from Emily Damstra the first issue of this collectible version of the American Eagle Silver Coin this year. Provident Metals now has 2021-W Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins available to you for purchase online in near-perfect condition.
When you purchase one of these 2021-W Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Type 2 Coins at Provident Metals, you will receive a coin that is in near-perfect condition. Coins with a Mint State 69 certification showcase full, original mint luster and have a maximum of two minor detracting flaws present. Examples of those flaws include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines that are located outside of the primary focal points of the coin. The Early Release label indicates the coins were received for grading within 30 days of release from the US Mint.
The obverse of 2021-W Burnished American Eagle Silver Coins is a depiction of Walking Liberty. The design featured here comes with a full-length image of Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon. Her right hand is extended toward the sun as her left-hand carries branches of oak and laurel. The inscriptions on this field include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2021, and the new AW signature mark of Adolph A. Weinman, the designer of the Walking Liberty image.
On the reverse of 2021-W Burnished American Eagle 1 oz Silver Type 2 Coins is an image of the American bald eagle. This new design shows the bald eagle swooping down into the design field with its wings flexed behind its figure and a large oak branch in its talons. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, ONE DOLLAR, and the W mint mark of the West Point Mint.
Emily Damstra is the designer of the new Type 2 design for the American Eagle Silver Coin. Ms. Damstra has previously worked with the Royal Canadian Mint and the United States Mint on various bullion coin productions.
