The modern South African Krugerrand Gold Coin Series features a 1 oz gold coin with five fractional-ounce coins. When the fractional-ounce coins were first offered in 1980, the series offered just three options with the 1/10 oz gold coin being the smallest of those coins available to investors.

Obverse
The obverse side of 2021 South African Krugerrand 1/10 oz Gold Coins includes a bust of Paul Kruger. The respected Boer statesman and former president of the South African Republic first appeared on coinage in 1892. His bust, as shown here, debuted in 1892 on the South African 1 Pound Gold Coin and was featured on that gold coin through 1900. This current bust of Kruger was modified in 1984 based on the original Otto Schultz design. The inscriptions that accompany the design identify the nation of issue in Afrikaans and English as Suid-Afrika and South Africa.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 2021 South African Krugerrand 1/10 oz Gold Coins is a depiction of the Springbok antelope. The design captures the antelope as it prances through the plains of southern Africa. Inscriptions on this side of the coin include 1/10 Krugerrand, 2021, and Fyngoud 1/10 oz Fine Gold.
History
South African Krugerrand Coins were introduced by the Rand Refinery and South African Mint in 1967. The coin collection was expanded in 1980 to feature fractional-ounce coins in 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz gold. When the series celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017, the collection offered a new 1/20 oz gold and 1/50 oz gold coins. That release year included a first-ever release of the South African Krugerrand Silver coin.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
