Obverse
On the obverse side of 2021 Proof British Queens Beast Collection Silver Coins is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. This is the fifth-generation effigy of Her Majesty and captures her at the age of 89. The inscriptions on this side read 500 POUNDS, ELIZABETH II, and D.G. REG F.D.
Reverse
The reverse field of the 2021 Proof British Queens Beast Collection 1 Kilo Silver Coin comes with an image of Her Majesty at the very center. This design is the same fifth-generation effigy from the obverse, but it is shown in a smaller format. This helps accommodate the inclusion of all 10 heraldic beasts around the outer edge of the design field. The inscriptions on this face include THE QUEENS BEASTS and 2021.
History
Included on the reverse side of this coin are all 10 of the heraldic beasts from the Queens Beast Series. The design starts with the Lion of England at roughly the 1 oclock position. Moving clockwise around the edge, you will find the Red Dragon of Wales, the Griffin of Edward III, the Unicorn of Scotland, the Black Bull of Clarence, the Falcon of the Plantagenets, the Yale of Beaufort, the White Lion of Mortimer, the White Horse of Hanover, and the White Greyhound of Richmond.
