History
The New Zealand Mint first released the HARRY POTTER™ Movie Posters Collectibles coin collection in 2020 and has since manufactured designs for each of the Harry Potter movies. This years release honors the seventh film in the series, while other coins have previously shown movie posters for the other Harry Potter movies. Because each coin is designed using both color and engraving techniques, the movie posters are showcased in a more memorable way on a rectangular shape.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2021 Niue Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Movie Poster 1 oz Silver Coin shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. This profile by said coin designer has been used on coin releases from the New Zealand Mint for many years. Having the image of Queen Elizabeth II on the coin confirms that its a legal tender for the country of Niue. The obverse also shows the coins year of release and value.
Reverse
