History
While making a movie titled Godzilla vs. Kong is by all accounts a great idea, it is not necessarily a new one. Prior to this films release in 2021, there was another movie released in 1962 titled King Kong vs. Godzilla. But with a weak storyline and dated visual effects, this film pales in comparison to the 2021 version. Godzilla vs. Kong was a major success with critics and audiences alike, meaning this may not be the last time we see these legendary monsters facing off.
