This left-profile bust of President Washington was created in 1932 by John Flanagan for use on the US quarter and is based on a 1786 sculpture of the President. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read United States of America, Liberty, In God We Trust, Quarter Dollar, and the P mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint.

Reverse

On the reverse side of 2021-P Burnished ATB Tuskegee Airmen Silver Coins is a depiction of one of the many airmen who trained at Moton Field during World War II. This individual is snapping his flight cap on in preparation for a training flight as the tower at Moton Field is featured in the background. History

The Burnished ATB coins come on specially prepared blanks. The US Mint rolls the blanks in a drum with a polishing medium that creates a clean, matte finish to the blank. Each one is struck individually by the US Mint with just one strike in the coining press. The coins are then removed by gloved hands and immediately packaged at the US Mint.
