Reverse

An American bald eagle is depicted in flight on the reverse field of the 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin. The image of the bald eagle found here comes from Emily Damstra and is all-new for Type 2 coins. The design shows the bald eagle swooping into view with an oak branch in its talons. Inscriptions read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, and 1 oz. Fine Silver One Dollar.

A member of the US Mint Artistic Infusion Program, Emily Damstras design was chosen from a group of more than 35 possible images to represent the future of the American Eagle 1 oz Silver Series.
