Like the 1 oz and 1/4 oz coin, the 1/2 oz coin was suspended from 1982 to 1990. Introduced again from 1991 to 1994, suspended from 1995 to 1999, reintroduced in 2000, halted again in 2001, and has been available annually since 2002.
