History

The Queens Beasts series launched in March 2016 with the release of the Lion of England. For the next five years, the Royal Mint issued two Queens Beasts coins annually, with the series wrapping up in 2021. The last beast in the series was the White Greyhound of Richmond. However, the final coin issued was the Completer, a commemorative specimen featuring all ten beasts in one design.
