Obverse
On the obverse side of the 2019 Republic of Ghana African Leopard 1 oz Silver Coin is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is featured here in the 1998 design from Ian Rank-Broadley. This is the fourth-generation effigy from the Royal Mint of England and is used widely on Commonwealth coins. The background field on this side is of particular note as it uses alternating frosted elements to create the appearance of leopard spots behind the Queens effigy.
Reverse
The reverse face of 2019 Republic of Ghana African Leopard 1 oz Silver Coins comes with a new design of the leopard for 2019. This years design includes an outline of the African continent from which the head of a leopard emerges. History
The Scottsdale Mint issues the African Leopard 1 oz Silver Coins for the Republic of Ghana. The collection debuted in 2017 and uses new design elements on the reverse each year. African leopards are a subspecies of the leopard species and are native to most of the countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
