History

African Wildlife Leopard Silver Coins were first issued for Somalia in 2018 and, like the African Elephant coins, have a different design on the reverse with each release. The colorized versions have a colorized lacquer applied only to the primary design on the reverse field. This colorized lacquer is applied in a thin layer and does nothing to diminish the visual brilliance or silver purity of the coins.
