The obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Engravings include ELIZABETH II, 2019, AUSTRALIA, 2 OZ 9999 AG, and 2 DOLLARS.
The reverse features a mother crocodile gliding through the water against the rising sun, carrying her hatchling on her head. Radial lines and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design as added security features.
