Obverse
The obverse face of the 2018 Kingdom of Bhutan Lunar Dog 1 oz Silver Coin shows the image of a dog in a stylized manner. The dog is surrounded by floral design elements, and you can also see both leaves and clouds in the design. These natural elements are included to honor the natural beauty the Kingdom of Bhutan has to offer, including the villages in the mountains that often are covered in clouds.
Reverse
The reverse side of each coin bears the national emblem on the Kingdom of Bhutan. In this image, the seal is shown with intricate details with inscriptions of the nation of issue in both English and Dzongkha, the native Sino-Tibetan dialect of Bhutan.
