In 1992, the Mexican Mint introduced the 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz coins to the series, along with Proof versions. Coin Highlights:
There are numerous reasons why the Proof Mexican Liberated Silver coins are considered special. From their historic imagery and relevance to their composition, one of the most unique features to stand out is the fact that they do not have an assigned face value, although they have legal tender status! This is similar to the South African Krugerrand Coins in South Africa. Their value is based on the price of silver per ounce on a given day.
Obverse
In regards to imagery, the obverse of the 2017 Proof Mexican Libertad 1/10 oz Silver Coin features the Mexican gold eagle. It is depicted in battle mode, tussling with a rattlesnake which it holds with its talon and beak while perched on a cactus. The Mexican gold eagle is the official emblem of the nation. Underneath it, you will find an oak-and-laurel wreath, with Estados Unidos Mexicanos inscribed right above it.
Reverse
For the reverse, the Winged Victory is featured. It is inspired by the statute which is located in the heart of Mexico City. It depicts her in front-facing relief as she wields a wreath crown in her right hand held up high in the sky while there are loose chains in her left hand. You will see the mountains of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl in the background field.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
