This bust of Her Majesty is featured in the upper-center field of the design element in right-profile relief. The image was designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint of England and used broadly throughout the Commonwealth. Below the bust of Her Majesty is the Badge of Tokelau, a wooden tackle box historically used by local fishermen. It includes a ribbon below that reads Tokelau mo te Atua, which is Tokelauan for Tokelau for God.
