History
The Lunar Series was first launched for gold in 1996, with the initial silver issues following a few years later in 1999. After completing Series I in 2007, the Perth Mint debuted Series II in 2008 and is now issuing the current Series III across a range of sizes from 10 kilograms down to 1/2 oz.
