The 1994-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin was manufactured by the West Point Mint. This is indicated by the W mint marking that’s featured on one side of the coin. The coin itself was created with a perfect metal combination of 5.33% copper, 3% silver, and 91.67% gold. Altogether, the coin was struck with 22 karats of actual gold content. History
