Issued by the United States Mint since 1986, the American Silver Eagle coins are among the most popular collectables in the U.S. Containing 1 oz. of .999 fine silver, each Silver Eagle measures approximately 40.6 mm in diameter and 2.98 mm in thickness with a weight of 31.1 grams. All coins have reeded edges.
The obverse side of the coin displays Adolph A. Weinman’s 1915 design, Walking Liberty. Originally used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, the design features a cloaked Lady Liberty striding toward the sunrise. In addition, the words “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST,” along with the date of mintage are included.
The reverse features the Great Seal, adopted in 1782 as the United States’ Coat of Arms. The seal features an eagle clutching a bundle of arrows in one claw with an olive branch in the other. In its mouth, the eagle holds a banner which reads “E PLURIBUS UNUM” or “Out of many, One.” The words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER – ONE DOLLAR” are engraved as well.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
