History
The 1987 American Eagle Gold Coin marks the second edition of the series which first began in 1986. Although it cannot brag of high levels of demand like its predecessor, it remains one of the most popular set amongst other denominations. It has a limited mintage of 580,266 which means when you purchase it, you will join an elite club of collectors and investors who recognize its high value and worth. Notably, it has an impressive composition of 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver.
