History
Prior to the release of the American Eagle Gold Series in 1986, Americans struggled to make investments in physical precious metals. Obverse
The obverse features the iconic Lady Liberty design which was handcrafted by the iconic French sculptor and leader of the American Renaissance, famed artisan Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
