Reverse

The reverse design of the 1904 $20 Liberty Double Eagle Coin portrays a grand rendition of the heraldic eagle. This powerful visual showcases a majestic bald eagle facing forward, its mighty wings spread wide, clutching both the arrows symbolizing war and the olive branch representing peace in its commanding talons. Notably, the US national shield proudly adorns the eagle’s chest, completing the impactful design. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, TWENTY DOLLARS, and IN GOD WE TRUST.
